If you end up raising too much cash for your holiday you could always make me an offer, Joe ;)

I didn't go for it, the JP seemed to go quick judging by the texts from MONDO. I wasn't feeling it -- Kevin Tong is very hit and miss with me.

Yeah i know, but i swear there are Mondo trolls that just buy whatever is up, with no definition of taste.

They just buy to flip or hope it takes off.

I can't even financially keep up with MONDO drops anymore -- too many, too often.

I absolutely think is true - otherwise there is no way that JP print or the bat cave one would have sold out in less than a minute.

I really liked the Goonies one but the last couple have been fairly meh.

There is something quite addictive about trying to get the print though and a rush if you manage to do so - I happened to be on the site when that star trek print came up and I bought one even though i am not a huge star trek fan (it does actually look great in person with fantastic metallic type inks)

Exactly what i mean!

Now don't get me wrong. If you are a print playa, you just use a Mondo drop as a means to an end, you get the print and if you like it you keep it, or you flip it and try and get an ISO with the profit.

However the fact that so many prints find themselves on ebay within the first few hours, makes me believe its a mix of collectors and the rest are just taking advantage of the huge profit margin in the industry.

Supply and demand, fortune and glory!!
