Awhile back someone recommended protecting against such shenanagins by handling "trades" through paypal by sending each other the same amount. This offers the paypal buyer protection. I've completed a few trades this way and it seems to work well.
yeah, this is pretty much the only way i'll do trades unless I have prior experience with that person.
This seems like a solid insurance policy. Sent as goods & services I assume, otherwise there's no claim process. So you do pay a small price + shipping, but probably worth it for the right value swap.

there's this used gaming/market forum that uses a trade/transaction tool, where one person sends the offer to the other, the other accepts/rejects/counters, and from that point the transaction is tracked on the website, and the users have a feedback rating tied to their username. Then each user has to mark they sent their half + upload tracking if applicable, and then each user has to mark that their received what the other sent. it isn't perfect but i often think of it when dealing here on eb

He got me too I'm sad to say. Stay far away from this scumbag.

He also goes by Brian Mcginn or Mcgill
The Stamford address belongs to his grandfather
He also uses an address in VT which is a family mountain house
I have his phone number if anyone wants it.

Damn it…
I recognize the name.
How long has he been here?
Wow, fun. Just seeing this now as I'm not so active selling/trading prints these days.

Just to be clear this wasn't me. There's definitely been some issues with a couple other fluffheads. Maybe I should consider a name change.

The problem is he's got so many aliases and alt accounts, who knows what his real name and FB profile is. But I agree.
