Hey all, I just wanted to inform the Expresso Bean community that there is a thief on the site looking to prey on us. I posted a while back that I was looking for a Phish poster and a few weeks later I received a message from Brimanshii2112, whose name is Brian Mcginn informing me he had the poster I was looking for. We went back and forth trying to come up with a trade for the poster and after tons of tries we finally came up with it. Like an idiot I figured I could send the poster and he would do the same. Instead, I sent him the poster, and then he stopped answering my messages. He received the poster I sent him and now hes done with me. So everyone please be careful when treading posters. Once again beware of Brimanshii2112- Brain McGill.

If anyone has any ideas of something I can do, please send me a message, Im really upset about this. Thanks,

Jamie

Depending upon the value of the print, where he had it shipped to, and how much time You want to invest, You could most likely get him charged with fraud of some sort, wire fraud, theft by deception, grand larceny, something like that. In some places this is a felony, the value of the print matters considerably in this, most places, some places it will be a misdemeanor if its not over a certain amount. Other places it is a felony regardless because of the use of a computer in the commission of the crime.

Just a quick cursory search on lexis-nexis is showing anything stolen in Vermont that is over $900 is a felony punishable by up to 10 years.

The fact that he used a computer to do it, and it was theft by deception, may still be a felony

Don't trade....Come up with the value of each print and both parties do a PayPal purchase transaction....I do this even with people here that I know and trust....They could get killed in a car wreck on the way to drop your tube at the post office...Just my .02 cents

I'd think it's a fake name, or pretty close to his real name. Just my .02
