Yes. Give the first ep a watch.

Similar to a Paradise Lost: West Memphis 3 or The Jinx

What is funny about making of a murder is my buddy who is a local DA is all bent outta shape, saying dude is clearly guilty, cops drymounted it all up, makes his job harder, etc. but he's kinda an older grumpy dude, so....

Edit. But what I've seen is shady police antics, typical, a lackluster DA, and some pretty damn good defense attorneys. Those defense attorneys are good, that's for sure.

So drymounting slow... It's like a two hour story.
No editing and Bam its a season. But I am watching, hoping these cops get busted.

4 eps into the Making of a Murderer and I had to google it to see what the current state of affairs is.

I don't know all of the details but the videos they have of the various discussions they had with the 16 yr old kid was really disturbing to me.

He was Set up.
No finger prints on the car and his blood everywhere. Really?
Her blood in her vehicle...he wouldn't have put her in the back of her car.
His vile of old blood opened with a needle hole in the top.
Has a car crusher on his property and doesn't use it.
The keys found in the open after multiple searches.
No blood in the garage or anywhere... They find a bullet with her DNA on it just sitting there on the floor months later.

And.... The county saves a bazillion dollars.
drymount that jury.

His defense lawyers were good too, I figured he was going to win the case after they revealed the blood evidence had been tampered with. That jury was retarded.

Either that or really smart.
They were all from that county if I remember correctly.
Seven were against the states case when they went in, and two days later 12 were for it.
I'm guessing someone in that jury piped up and reminded everyone that the sheriffs will know who voted for the plaintiff... Best hang him out to dry, or find a dead person on your property and your blood smeared all over their car.

But even for his nephew's case they brought in a jury from another county and they still found him guilty.

Yeah, but that county also was supposedly in charge of the EVIDENCE and scene of the crime of Halbach and yet the original county had access and investigating the scene. I have a hard time trusting either county, based on the stuff I've seen in the show anyway.

We finished up Master of None last night, thought it was very enjoyable. Had a lot more heart in it than I was expecting. Always liked Aziz, but this was more mature and well written than I was expecting.
