I just rewatched the movie last night to get myself in the mood. Still so so so so good.

I just could not get into WHAS the movie. Having it set on the last day of camp seemed like a bad choice to me. I dunno, I've tried a couple of times to watch it and never finish and I love me some movies about summer camp, regardless of genre. I doubt I'll bother with the show.

It started streaming (all episodes) at midnight last night. I watched a few but was very tired. What I saw so far I found very funny (in a corny, kitschy way). I agree that some of the movie was just too corny (it's been a while since I saw the whole movie), but I actually enjoyed the Netflix episodes more than the movie and it is fun (and funny) to see them create the back story for characters in the movie since the episodes are a prequel.

Finished watching it and my verdict is if you're a fan of the movie you'll get a kick out of the random absurdity or this season. If you haven't seen the movie I suggest you do so (it's on Netflix) before watching the show.
