I think the new Kristen Bell jawn is supposed to be either funnier or deeper than it is. Just flat and mildly “off” so far. Like a Scary Movie without gags.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Anyone check out Archive 81?
Pretty intense, weird, and creepy as drymount.
One of the better things out of Netflix in a while and going mostly unnoticed.
Archive 81 was great! I only realized after I'd finished it that Geoff Barrow (Portishead of course / Annihilation / Ex Machina) had worked on the score. I don't think I've seen a release of it yet, but will definitely pick it up if it pops up in the future.
We're 4 episodes into All of Us Are Dead and really enjoying it so far. Episode are each over an hour long but they move pretty damn briskly. Great zombie chaos scenes.

Just plowed thru Archive 81 as well. That was an excellent two nights of viewing. Scores very high on the creepy vibe.

Just finished this one yesterday. I thought it was pretty good and had me interested throughout. Not really sure I like the way season one ended up though.

I’ve almost turned off Don’t Look Up about a dozen times.
It’s a terribly accurate on the massive ignorance we are neck deep in.
Wondering if Trumpers realize it’s a comedy?
Wow, Meryl Streep would be a perfect VP for when Trump wins in 2024 y’all!
I actually didn't love it either. Comedically mocking republicans doesn't really work that well, as they're always, always worse, and somehow more absurd; the mockery made of them in that movie almost softens how bad they really are (maybe it because it lacks the centuries of scope and context). Streep and Hill were great, but just not...authentically awful. I also don't think they'd nominate a woman to the big house in our lifetime.
McKay did far better with Vice when it comes to capturing the depravity of the party - I honestly prefer it to DLU.

Spot on.
It’s hard to laugh, it’s so infuriating.
Archive 81.
That seance scene was freaky.
Guessing they are booked for season two.
They sure left it that way.

I watched some Archive 81 episodes during the day, and some at night. Felt like two totally different shows.

Totally get what you’re saying…
I’d imagine that would give some people nightmares if watched at night.

Anyone watch the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre? I liked it overall. The bus scene was pretty gruesome.

I just came in to ask if this was worth watching. I saw that Colin Stetson did the music. Loved his score to Hereditary.

I was so confused about how I was supposed to feel until after a couple of episodes. Enjoyed it once I had the right perspective

I liked it way more than I expected to. Not perfect, but maybe my favorite TCM sequel after 2.

I'll for sure check out Archive 81, the trailer looked interesting.
Anyone watch The Dropout yet? That's the Theranos chick
