Watched both seasons a few weeks ago. Thought it was good too.

Started watching Kingdom on Netflix the other day (the Korean one). 3 episodes in and it is decent.

2 episodes into Away. Very formulaic and predictable. We’re gonna give it another 2 episodes.

I thought that 5 bloods was overrated. Not bad by any means, but I found the praise it got highly unwarranted. Good acting overall, but rather predictable storytelling. I thought it paled in comparison to Black KKKlansman, which I thought was great.

^ I’d say this is spot on. Pretty much the whole movie felt like I’ve seen it before. I won’t watch it again any time soon, but if it was the first time, I probably would again.

I haven’t seen the BlacKkklansman.

What is?

Thanks for the Bloods review. I kinda expected that it would be broader than deep.

Watched ‘Thinking ‘Bout Ending Things’ last night. Not my cup of head trip, but the wife dug it (or at least wanted to watch again to figure out wtf was going on). The Game Night dude lead was slightly more interesting than I thought he’d be, but still a dud. Nice to see guy from Mike Leigh’s Naked getting work.

I expected I'm Thinking of Ending Things to be a borefest after reading the book and hearing it would be over 2 hours long, but it was much much better with images, voices and Kaufman weirdness added.
Jesse was good as usual but Jessie was great.
You can put lipstick on a pig.

Cobra Kai is a lot of predictable fun to watch. I really enjoyed it and more than expected.

Season 3 of Marcella is entertaining so far.
The premise of S3 is preposterous, but it's highly entertaining.

Agreed. Not believable in the slightest, but fun.

Sucks, didn't grow up watching the original but loved the craft and world that came from this.
