Haven’t seen the doc, but agree that Sam was great. His music lives on and Leo Bridges reminds me so much of him.jlabbate wrote:Sam Cooke doc was great..died far too young..I didn't know how influential he was back in the 60's!RottenAtom wrote:Loved the Same Cooke doc. Sam's my all-time favorite singer. I knew a bit about him, but the doc gave insight to things I was not aware of. His Portrait of a Legend album gets way more spin than any of my other records.jamel-d wrote:Haven’t seen the doc, but agree that Sam was great. Started watching it the other day. It's OK so far. Shows like this really annoy me with how much they insult the viewer's intelligence. Then again, maybe they think mostly idiots are watching it, which very well may be true.turnJBup wrote:Still no comments on “ You”.
P.S. I can't believe you're watching a "Lifetime" show.

Finished Russian Doll and thought it was really great. Hope Natasha Lyonne gets some awards and/or gets to lead more cool weird stuff.
I thought it was hilarious.Codeblue wrote:Started watching it the other day. It's OK so far. Shows like this really annoy me with how much they insult the viewer's intelligence. This is like my longest running thread on the internet ever.

if you've ever watched It's Always Sunny, pretend "Joe" is actually Dennis and it makes the show 10x more enjoyable.turnJBup wrote:I thought it was hilarious.Codeblue wrote:Started watching it the other day. I've enjoyed the first couple episodes of Umbrella Academy.
Short Term 12 is really great. Brie Larson's first movie I believe. Watched it yesterday after a friend had told me about it.
Not Netflix though. Amazon Prime.
