Great flick and beautiful to listen to/look at. It was shot using only natural light. I hosted a screening of it at Alamo Drafthouse last Father's Day and everybody really enjoyed themselves.

Very strong arguments could be made that Amadeus has the best costume design of any film ever.

Yeah, it's a striking look and with some all-time-great caliber lines/scenes taboot.
Valmont is another solid period piece from Forman; think N'flix dropped that one though.

No idea if it's already been mentioned but Frank was one of the best movies I've seen this year. Last night at work we were incredibly slow so I got paid to watch it and the night turned out pretty great.

I've been watching this series Departures about 2 friends who just decide to take off a year and travel around the world.I've always wanted to do stuff like this so i like living vicariously through people with the balls.

I haven't seen Frank but me thinks your view might be a bit skewed. I could watch the Montell Williams show and be enthralled if I was watching it at work. I'll check it out though.

Watched a couple recently.

Most Known Unknown - Easily the weakest Errol Morris film I have seen. A lot of that probably had to do with the elusiveness of the subject, but still worth a watch for documentary fans.

Horses of God - A great film that will probably rub people of certain political leanings the wrong way. Instead of portraying the would be terrorists as monsters or brown people whose heads explode (American Sniper) it shows them as innocent youth that grow up in a completely toxic environment. It takes a look at the socioeconomic situation that leads to a breeding ground of extremism. A very different look at Casablanca than Hollywood has ever provided.

I work at a hotel and we had no check the ins left so I legit did nothing all night. I loved the movie and watched the while thing with only one phone call interruption.
