Took longer than expected for the E2-4 spoilers to show up in here.

Heard folks were put out by the decline in quality from S1 to S2.
Hope it's not true, S1 was great TV.

I thougt it was a solid first episode. Nothing too big happened, but a good start to season 5. The opening scene was pretty good with young cersei and the witch. Things in Kings landing are going to be a lot different without Tywinn around. Even Jaime is worried. Varys and Tyrion going to meet Danny should be pretty good. Someone else posted saying that it would be interesting to see them interacting with each other. I'd have to agree and Jon Snow at the wall was the best this week. His talk with Stannis and then Mance, then at the end putting Mance out of his misery at the end was pretty cool, but he's gone against Stannis' wishes, it'll be interesting to see how that goes for him.

Thought this was pretty cool. Sounds just like the original.

Such a good one tonight. Incredible how rich the series is, just so many storylines going on and every one is interesting to me. Got chills when he said "A man is not Jaquen H'ghar."

I thought it was good. Im curious to see what Carcetti's endgame is through all of this and definitely didn't see Snow getting made the hammer before the episode. Although the Jaquen part I felt was pretty obvious after the old black guy turned her away at the door. It was just a matter of time before he showed up and did some Houdini fudge.

I have a feeling the next couple episodes might be heavier on the setting up and all of that, but I am fine with it because major things will have to start happening soon. And hell, even the most boring ep of GoT is better than 60% of The Walking Dead eps over the last few seasons. So there's that.

"Bear Island knows no king but the King in the North, whose name is Stark"

Mayhaps my favorite jawn since Davos' "if you're a famous smuggler, you're not doing it right".
