Ding ding ding.

Warning SPOILERS: This article outlines new characters for next season - there really aren't that many spoilers in it, but if you want to remain truly in the dark, I wouldn't read it.

We don't want to know that. Any of that. Delete your post.

We're here to talk about a TV show. Talking about fudge that hasn't happened in the show is a dick move, period. We all know the books exist. We don't care. Talking about the books makes you a dick, the end.

Plus, Martin can't write for fudge. I tried one of those books. Awful.

Jesus dude, that's why we both said SPOILERS. We didn't discuss the spoiler content, simply provided a link for those interested. It is your choice to click on the link or not.

Also, my post pertains to the show, not just the book.

:hanging: fudge

I dug around too much on articles and stumbled upon spoilers ... probably drymounted myself for the rest of this season. While some people just can't help themselves ... I'm just pissed at myself for venturing too far down the rabbit hole. Where's The Mountain to poke-crush my eyeballs when I need him?

Seriously.. if a link to purchase the books is a spoiler that gets someone that bent out of shape, you should probably just stay off the internet completely. I know I wouldn't mind :pint:

Since you didn't use italics, I take it this is a serious statement and not sarcasm?

Smith is reacting to book folks confirming/denying his posted rhetorical questions, not the link provided.

Let's all take a breath. Jrsheppa posted a link that pertains to the show with all adequate disclaimers for people who don't want to know anything about the future of the show (aside from harmless speculation that will occur over the course of normal conversation). While I can understand that Smith's post may have been a little excessive, people can make up their own damn minds if they want to find out about the future casting of the show, it has already been beat into submission that book related spoilery talk should be kept separate from the people who prefer to keep the show discussion solely based on the show. I respect that. In regards to his notion that Martin is a terrible writer, I responded in the book related thread in order to keep things show related only here.

Here is my response:
