I am pretty sure it was a single punch through the skull as well....since was a bit too comic bookey. The show version was soooo much more brutal.

so if the Mountain dies of his injuries, is that considered a draw and is a rematch (with other champions) warranted? What would Ser Don King do?

Great episode.
Kinda gutted Oberyn died, but saw it coming as soon as he started taunting The Mountain.
Excited for next ep, to see how Tyrion gets out of it. He can't die, right???!

I haven't read the books or anything, so this isn't a spoiler of any kind, but I remember saying the same thing about Ned Stark a few years ago.

He killed the viper before finally rolling over and maybe dying, so the mountain is declared winner.

I do not think he was taunting the mountain. It seemed to me that he wanted him to admit that Tywin Lannister gave him the order to kill his sister and her children.

I do not think he was taunting the mountain. It seemed to me that he wanted him to admit that Tywin Lannister gave him the order to kill his sister and her children.

I totally thought the Mountain was gonna say Tywin gave the order and Oberyn was gonna chuck his spear and kill Tywin ... for a second or two anyways

I was actually thinking this ever since the last episode. I was certain Oberyn had to win this one for the story's sake but also knew we'd get a crazy suprise and figured that would be it. Boy - I don't know fudge.

In other news. I don't know if I can handle this show anymore.
