I think HBO is going to have a hard time keeping customers interested in their fudge after this Sunday evening...they are going to have to come up with some really great stuff to fill this void. "the Sopranos", "the Wire", "True Detective"...were all really great but non could replace something as large and on the same scale as GOT..."Barry" is their next best thing right now and that's just a tiny candle compared to dragon fire

They've got plenty of big time shows coming up. They'll be just fine.

The preview/upcoming lineup for Post-GOT HBO looks extremely promising. In fact, as a whole it could possibly be the most promising ever previewed by HBO between His Dark materials, Watchmen, Righteous Gemstones, Chernobyl, and all the popular things coming back, Silicon Valley, Big Little Lies, etc.

HBO is not going to have any problem. They know what they doing.

I watched the first episode of Chernobyl, fudge was pretty intense though some of the radiation injuries were ridiculously far-fetched. Still enjoyed it.

I felt last episode was brilliant cept for the Euron/Jamie fudge. How many people have signed that petition? I heard 1 million as of today. So dumb.

Looking forward to seeing Deadwood film. That was a fantastic show that def lacked closure.

Every single character becoming a lumberjack would have been far less stupid.

If you're honest with yourself, you knew it could only come to this as soon as Mr. Garrison left Mr. Slave to become a woman.

I mean they got like 3 GoT spinoffs that'll probably drag some people back at some point.

As for the ending...i actually like the endpoints the characters are at, but man, all the process leading towards it needed way more development and less shortcuts. But an ending to a hype train like this was always gonna be near impossible to stick the landing.

Can't wait until the books end the same way, and people are pissed thinking GRRM would change them based on off fan reactions to the show. That is assuming he ever writes them.

People are really selling themselves on Dany not turning heel in the books. I really hope she does, just because of all the outcry, as if people "know" her or have some ownership of the character.
