earlgreytoast wrote:Ha, lots of folks offended by that scene. Like because you met her as an underage girl, you can't handle seeing her now as an empowered woman. I loved it because it was a little edgy and showed a natural progression for her character and made her more vibrant and real, unlike Bran and Sansa who have this facade of deadness.
I was put off by the Arya sex scene because 1) she still seems very young, and 2) it didn't fit with her character at all. She's a cold, recluse assassin. Not once in the entire series that I can remember has she ever even hinted at being a sexual being. It didn't fit for her character at all. It might be "progression" for her character, but it's not "natural," IMO.

That being said, maybe she's trying to get some Baratheon bloodline thing going so her child someday could make a claim to the throne. Clearly the show's timeline won't allow for that to play out. Just fun to think about.

I don't get the problem for Daenerys with Jon being Targaryen. They're together, so who cares? Their being related isn't a problem, she was going to marry her brother when the show started. If anything it solves the awkward conversation of why she would have wanted their son to be named Targaryen even though the father is named Snow/Stark.

The real problem is Jon being named Aegon, the same name as his late big brother. Except the other Aegon wasn't dead yet. Rhaegar and Lyanna just decided to name their kid the same name as his brother? That's some stupid writing by the show.

Or maybe Dany sacrificing herself and a dragon to save Jon and see him take the throne?

Or it was all just a dream of Bran while he was unconscious after being pushed out of a window... and there is no magic or dragons or people coming back from the dead. And it took place in Cleveland. In the 70s.

Final surprise was given away in the first season. The entire world is located inside the eye of a giant turtle.

Bran is Finn from Adventure Time and Jake the Dog is really Summer the Direwolf and the Ice King is the Night King.
