I think it looks drymounting awful and I cannot wait to see it. I also enjoyed the fudge out of JW even though that wasn't a good movie.

I can appreciate a bad movie. Fallen Kingdom is on another level of bad.

When there’s (I think) three big dinosaurs revealed in the opening sequence, you know it’s gonna be bad. No waiting or slow build to any reveals was very disappointing IMO.

Slow builds are obsolete these days with this franchise, audience know and wants big stomping dinos in zomg glorious 3D. CGI has become almost photo real espc with reptiles and monsters since there is no real uncanny valley effect. JP could build for half the film, since back then we didn't know what to expect and were excited to accept whatever they revealed.

That said, my kid was undecided between Incredibles 2 and JW2. Played him both trailers prior and he chose Incredibles. This from a kid who is a dino freak says it all imo. We both really enjoyed I2. JW2 will be a home movie experience.

This staggering amount of fudge wrong with Fallen Kingdom is insane. Trevorrow needs his Hollywood keys taken away immediately.

Formula for all new JP movies...

Big CGI dinosaurs!

Big explosions!

Bad script!

Obligatory shot showing random scientist saving the embryos!

Cue credits and main theme!

Movie gets points for finally (at least for a little bit) having an Allosaurus in it. Other than that... the kids (7 and 9) liked it and declared it their favorite JP movie, though the 7 year old wasnt wearing his 3D glasses for 85% of the movie so take that into consideration.
