Watched the Directors cut of Midsommar, over the weekend.
This fleshes things out a nice bit more. Aster is definitely becoming someone I'm watching and A24 has been on a good roll.

I saw it too recently and enjoyed it more than the theatrical cut. Hopefully it'll be available on Blu-Ray as well.FrankBooth wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 10:49 amWatched the Directors cut of Midsommar, over the weekend.

I have yet to see "Midsommar", low key saving it for late in the Halloween season.^ Really dug the feel of "Hereditary", hoping "Midsommar" lives up to it.
In any case, I cant sleep. Watching "Magnolia". Tom Cruise's probably only truly great piece of acting imo, he really commits in that.

There are a nice amount of parallels (visually) and think you'll be pleased.
Check out what influenced Aster to make the film after you watch it, think he is one of the more unique creators going these days.

Schitts Creek.... drymount is it good. Gotta watch it thinking about “best in show”
I’m watching my son scream and cry because he got a gold star taken away for running and hiding in his playroom when he was supposed to go to his room for bed and have story time with mommy.
It’s earth shattering. You would of thought we just told him Mickey Mouse died, it’s that intense. Although, once his star board is filled he gets to go to chucky cheese, so that’s a delay.

Until you can welcome, accept and enjoy folks who’s views, looks, thoughts, struggles & values are polar opposites to yours, then you have NOT lived.
