I really liked S1 of Homecoming too, but that was only directed by Esmail (which definitely seems to be his strong suit). It'll be interesting to see how the next season shakes out since I think they already exhausted the podcast material it was based on. He does just about everything on Mr Robot and I think it hurt S2 and 3 because of it. I wouldn't go as far as calling it analogous it to the Matrix sequels (which are total garbage), but I understand the comparison.

I don’t get the hype. It was ok, but I found it rather derivative. Don’t see much of reason to pull through the remaining seasons.
I was the same. Struggled big time to even finish Season 1 and didn't bother with the other seasons. Perhaps my expectations were too high based on what I had heard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ .

On the other hand, I just wrapped up Season 2 of the Deuce, and I really enjoyed it. DS is the man.

Iam in the boat that thinks Mr. Robot is one of the best series out there.
Liked season 1. Thought season 2 was even better. And season 3 is off the hook. Great trip.
Can't wait for season 4. Hope they don't mess it up.

Loved also Homecoming. Was just mesmerized by it. Intriguing story, great characters, cool camera angles. Suprise of the year.

Just started Atlanta. Loving it so far.

Season 2 of Atlanta might be my favorite season of television. It's for sure top-5.

Escape at Dannemora was great. Highly recommend. Stellar cast with a bunch of good performances (Arquette, Dano, Del Toro and Lange). Couldn't believe it when I looked up the cast and saw that Lyle was played by Eric Lange. :pint:

Lithub editor ranks her top 50 literature to tv adaptions. I haven't seen a lot of these but many sound promising.

I love Sherlock, Fargo (1st season), Daredevil (1 and third season), Dexter, Rick and Morty, House of Cards, Newsroom and I use to watched Fringe also - it was great! Like X--Files for modern audience!

Goddamn that last episode of Shameless hit me right in the feels. Such a good show and Emmy Rossum is a great actor.

It’s a shame, loved that show. I thought it got better with each season, and it started out better than most. That being said, the story arc did come to a natural conclusion. I’m sure they could have continued on for a bit, but it works well as a complete story (buttoning things up nicely in the finale).

Another show I gave a few eps and couldn't get into. Maybe I'll give it another go eventually.
