Is that that Dark Knight ripoff with the dude from Lost?

Not much of this show owes itself to the Dark Knight, so ripoff would be a stretch if this is the show you are referring to, but yes, Michael Emerson is in Person of Interest.

Such a good show. Last season was a bit weaker, but glad they have a full season to wrap it up properly.

One of the best crime shows of the last few years.

It's a solid comic series, IIRC it got picked up before the first issue even dropped. Glory to the Kirkman.

Wife pushed Downton Abbey* part II on us last night (Doctor Thorne). It's not bad- Jane Austen-ish, only slightly darker and with campy Hitchcock-esque opening/closing segments.

*Downton Abbey blows
*my new funk band name = "Uptown Abbie and The Help"
just a foil for me today, thanks

Up to the finale. It's finally starting to get good.

P.S. Why is this season 3 eps shorter than the last?

^^ Probably because they realised that the first season was at least 3 episode too long. It did not get good until the last few episodes. The first 8 to 10 episodes could have been reduced by two or three episodes. I hope this second season moves along a bit quicker.

The Girlfriend Experience was better than expected. Nice short 30 mins episodes are easy to get through.

Read this first when I was halfway through. Thought to myself, whatever it's shorter. Then episode 10 ended, and I thought yeah what the hell?

Tyrant is really hitting its stride, which means it'll prolly get canceled after this season.

OJ: Made in America. Even though most of us have heard a lot about OJ, and even though this show goes for over 450 mins (7.5 hours) across five episodes, the time flies by. There's a lot more to the story being told in this series than just OJ too. Well worth a look.
