Anyone else watching Insecure? I'm enjoying it so far.

Saw someone mention Amazon's Red Oaks earlier in this discussion. Just finished the most recent season. While I enjoyed Season 1 the most, Season 2 was a fun watch as well.

Y'all nuts. The Affair is genius. It's like kurosawa's Rashomon and Bergman's Scenes From a Marriage had a baby.

3 hours in and I didn't care about anyone, especially the main dude, so I quit. IMO the leads were not up to the task of playing both sides of that story. Neither was the writing or shooting there.
Ah well- winsum loosum...

Heard season 1 was great. Season 2 not so much.
True story?

I like all of it. It's not nearly as high brow as brett would have ya believe though.

Yeah, it's still a Showtime show, so that does lower the brow level haha

Transparent is amazing. Gotta get in touch with your sensitive, Jewish, family side but soooo good. Tremendous show.

yah, 2 more seasons. Hard to quantify as all the seasons have been great but I'd say 2nd was the best, then 1st then 3rd. But all 3 are top notch and worth a watch. Only show other than MASH that can make me laugh and mist up in the same episode.
