Just watched/listened to Die Hart today while working and do not understand the duration of these episodes. Weird.
BTW this is not an endorsement, it sucked.

I binged The Bear (Season 02) in 3 days - man, oh man. I haven't enjoyed a show like this since watching Mr. Robot (favorite show IMO)

Yeah this season of the Bear felt like its own thing in a good way. Bunch of really cool character development and some stellar cameo appearances.

Thought it started great but has steadily gone downhill since. I've just got the finale left. Feels like the season could have been 5 or 6 episodes instead of 10.
Common is a horrendous actor.

EGT, a few eps provide backstories... not as action packed, for sure. Subsequent eps still answer questions along with additional mysteries. Blue, keep watching... eps 9 and 10 are great! It's the #1 show on Apple TV.
I'm on the fence about whether I want to read the books prior to S2. It's been said that the books are a great read. The story has been adapted for tv. Hugh Howey's Silo Trilogy: Wool, Shift, Dust (to be read in that order). Book readers in FB group said the story gets really good after what we see in the finale.
Is Common the rapper guy? If so, yeah... not a great actor. It isn't something that ruins the show, though.

Yeah I definitely want to read the books. The concepts behind the show are great, I just thought it dragged waaayyy too much and there was too much domesticated fudge and not enough gritty fudge.
Good to see good ol Jorah Mormont back in action! He is also in The Rig on Amazon which I thought was better than Silo overall.
