Debating taking the 3.5 year old to a kids flick in a couple of months (they're showing some old classics nearby) and recalled that my first in-theatre experience was probably The Muppet Movie. Followed by Stah Wahs at a revival in probably '79, then Raiders (a terrible-at-babysitting uncle's call).

Y'all recall yours?

Ps asked the wife- hers was Xanadu the poor bastard

Pps it was actually probably Rocky I and II at the drive-in (Squirm was playing on the other screen - it was traumatic) then Empire- this after SW and before Raiders. Whatever.
just a foil for me today, thanks

Age appropriate movies. 3.5 yrs. old is pretty young for a lot of content...things we don't realize. (I know you don't need me to tell you this.)

First movie in a theater - "HELP" The Beatles. Not that it helps you with your request. Heh. I was too young to understand/enjoy the movie. My Aunt took us to see it. Both my parents are deaf and...well, since there was no CC - they never took us to the movies. We were more of a book and board games family. I lived for Sunday's as a kid...The Wonderful World of Disney tv show at 6pm. Memories...

Yeah, just a thought. It's probably early yet for her to even be in that environment whatever the content.

Interesting about your parents. Generalizing- but the deaf community it's super tight, yeah? My aunt is deaf and has a pretty extensive network of people whom our otherwise tight family barely knows.

Clip is a better advertisement than actual trailer. Seek it out if you haven't seen it.

Hi to all of you!

Recently I've seen great comedy called "To be or not to be". It was created 1983. Mel Brooks is starring, Anne Bancroft and others! It has just 6,8 of 10 at IMDb, but I think it's worth it!
