he's not interviewed, but there are plenty of references/comments about him...his style....his fights....so on and so forth.

nothing was discussed about the mcsorley/brashear slashing incident either.

I liked it, but I am partial to films with featuring replicants, between this, Green Room and Under the Skin and the Lobster (i liked it), A24 is the fudge

I may be late to this, but those who have ATT and live near a Regal Cinemas can get 2-4-1 movie tickets on Tuesdays.

Arrival, Nocturnal Animal, Personal Shopper are all solid watches. Arrival is the most fully-realized/least clunky of the lot (but the one that resonated least with me) and I think Polanski would've knocked NoctAnimals fully out of the park (but drymount that guy). Any case, they all kept me glued during and stuck around afterwards = good fudge that I'd watch again soon.

ps decided I'll go see the new Alien...not Blade Runner II though.

I caught this on Amazon streaming last night. Definitely not for everyone. Reminicent of Gomorrah. If you liked that you'll probably enjoy (enjoy?) this one. It's a slow paced, brutal, depressing, beautifuly shot film. What more could you ask for?

Saw Perfect Strangers last night. Italian flick, and a solid spin on the dinner-party-goes-to-fudge-in-awkward-ways genre.

Really enjoyed it, slow burn with plenty of character moments and of course some old school bone crushing violence.

Vaughn's still and brooding presence was great, can't wait to see Dragged Across Concrete.
