i just finished a swedish film called ondskan "evil" (not a horror movie) and it was excellent. a bit like a foreign version of school ties. the lead actor reminded me of river phoenix in stand by me. anyway, i highly recommend it.

I saw Bears this week. Casting John C. Riley as the narrator was a good choice.

Chilling in a Tolstoy meets Serling kind of way. Hudson's performance here is as good as they come.

I love Le Samouraï, but Le Cercle Rouge just edges is out.

I recommend Borgman, a Dutch psychological thriller. It's a slow-burn, but damn good.

Just finished watching Memories of Murder. It's been a long long time since I've seen this, but it really is a fantastic film. Not my favourite Bong Joon-Ho film (that is Mother for me) but certainly up there.

Tried to watch Bellflower, but found the three leads just terrible and really annoying so gave up on it. Read the synopsis of what happens and glad I didn't stick round to the end because it sounds just awful.

Bellflower is really sloppy and normally I would rip a movie like that apart but I really like it. My favorite thing about the film is Jonathan Keevils music.

Highly recommend this. Extremely entertaining and is more unsettling than most recent horror films.

Only good thing in Bellflower is the car.
