For Firestick users, HBO Max will be available starting tomorrow (No more sideloading needed)

I saw that but I didn't see the app available earlier today when I attempted downloading it. Anyone else have that issue?

The thumbnail in the app store (on the firestick) is still shown as the white HBO one. It's hbo max when you click to install.

Just rewatched the first season of True Detective. Damn, I forgot how good it was!

I thought it was pretty solid until the last half of the last episode. Nothing new, but worth a watch.

I found the ending hilariously, case-study-in-terrible-writing bad. Was pretty gripped in the first few episodes though.

Ya I was rather disappointed with the ending. Thought they'd have something else in store, and the "reveal" was laughably unnecessary,

THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT was ok. Took a few episodes for me to warm up to it and while it salvaged itself, it should have been left as a limited series and not renewed for a second.

Am I the only one here watching Painting with John? I doubt it makes it to another season, but I've enjoyed every episode so far.

"Painting with John" is great, as was "Fishing with John" about 30 years back.

Also loved "How to with John Wilson", another HBO show completely unlike anything else out there.

Watched this a couple of years ago and it's a good show, but didn't see what all the hype was about. Good but not great.
