Thread for excited anticipation, spoilers and eventual disappointment:

New teaser poster:

New trailer:
As per usual, this latest trailer probably shows all twists, set pieces and plot beats to get more bums on seats. The Uber-Predator, or whatever it is, should probably have been kept out of trailers/promotional campaign.

The tonal difference to the first terrible trailer is lessons learned from the negative feedback, I guess. Wonder if they are reshaping the film accordingly?

Expectations are very low on this, original is a classic, sequel is a guilty pleasure, the rest are meh, so I'll probably enjoy the film as being something in this 'universe' but nothing more, PVP-1.

Not a Shane Black fan huh.

Speaking of Predator, when is someone gonna make a documentary about the spectacular fall from grace of McTiernan?

Shane Black is directing a Predator movie? No wonder RN is excited. I take back my eyeroll.

(Though if it were up to me he wouldn't waste his time with this...)

I'm generalizing for the thread, I have little to no expectations, sadly. :hanging:

My imagined tone and plot is nothing like the trailer that is playing out, no doubt Black will come out and insinuate his 'vison' was diluted and compromised by the studio when it gets negative reviews.

Big fan of KKBB and enjoyed quirky nature of The Good Guys tho.

Probably the most coherent trailer for it.
