It's time to revisit. Watched it all when it aired but recently bought the Blu Ray so the lady could catch up (and I wanted a hard copy). But, you know, starting an 18 hour super weird trip hasn't happened yet. I did get her caught up on the original series and she's into it, but this is obviously a very different thing.

Got lucky and saw it in a marathon of sorts at MoMA.

It was mind expanding to see it in an extended sitting over a weekend on a big screen.

I felt like it was made just for me and like 10 other twin peaks nerds.

I got to meet Kyle very briefly and all I really got to say to him was

'I love Dougie Jones'

Finally watched the pilot. Cheesy, weird, and funny. I think I'm in.

the pilot of the original series?? If so, I'm so jealous of you. This is definitely one of those shows I wish I could erase from my brain just so I could watch it again

Finished the first few. Kyle MacLachlan is great. That scene with the chalkboard and bottles was hilarious. fudge is starting to get really weird. Can't believe it was on network tv.

be sure to wait until you finish all the 90's seasons until you watch the movie Fire Walk With Me, but definitely watch it. A great addition to the story, especially after coming off freshly binging on the original series.

Back in the day, the natural weirdness of the original twin peaks series was compounded by the fact that it was on a Friday night. If you forgot to program your vcr one week and skipped an episode you were completely lost. I didn't get the movie when I watched it because there were key episodes of the show I had never seen. But watching the movie about a year ago after streaming the whole original series again....It's f'in great.

I enjoyed Fire Walk With Me on its own merits. Never saw anything past S1 otherwise.
just a foil for me today, thanks
