There will be an audio version of the book coming out in November by Mark Frost that will supposedly fill the gap between "How's Annie?" and the new show. The actors recorded for it. Pretty excited about that.

Yeah I've been meaning to pre-order the book for a while. Was glad I didn't when I saw the actors were involved with the audio version.

I got a ticket with album for the screening this weekend in LA. Hope there's some surprises. There's some Twin Peaks Funko Pops and action figures coming this year that look fun.

I just bought the audio version. Plan to listen to it before the new episodes premier. Looking forward to it.

It didn't dampen my enthusiasm for the show but I thought the audio book was quite a let down.

Damn. That's too bad, but I appreciate the feedback. I will lower my expectations.

Yeah, the audiobook was pretty lame. Get ready to hear a bunch about Lewis and Clark and very little about what's been happening in town the last 25 years.

I liked the book, but it was not what I was expecting at all. Mark Frost took a super minor background character and built them up a lot, with a small bit of peppering as to what's happened after the events of season 2. I do have a feeling a lot of it will factor into the new season.

I also really appreciate the book. I'm about halfway through at this point and really enjoy the history and background that is being laid out and assume it will factor into the new season. And the layout of an archive that was discovered and is being annotated by a new agent is creative and makes it fun to read.

Listened to the audiobook a few months back. The first few hours were a slog, but after that it was pretty interesting. If you're a hardcore fan there's a lot of cool backstory and easter eggs that you'll appreciate.
