Finally watched "The Pact" after numerous people kept recommended it (i.e. wouldn't shut the drymount up about it). It's been quite a while since I've been so simultaneously bored and annoyed with a film.

I'm moving into a new house this week; It's nearly 100 years old and my girlfriend is a bit spooked by it. Haunted/scary house movie recommendations much appreciated  We already watched "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark," "The Conjuring," and "Session 9" because I knew those would all spook her.

Don't be afraid of the dark is one of the worst films of the last decade.

Yeah, but I knew she would be creeped out by the little monsters in that film.

I finished watching The Town That Dreaded Sundown remake/sequel last night. I think I liked it more than the original. And it gave me a better appreciation of the original film as well. Definitely worth a watch and it is on Netflix.

The vibe of the original is where it's at.

Watched Creep last night, it was entertaining, not sure if I would categorize it as a horror movie. The part where he's talking about animal porn had me cracking up.

Seconded. "Dark Summer" was positively godawful; everything about that movie made me sangry.

This week I rewatched a few movies that I haven't seen in years: Martyrs, Frontier(s), and High Tension. I remember liking Martyrs and Frontier(s) when they came out, but I wasn't feeling them this time around. My tastes have changed, I guess. (Mild spoilers ahead) Martyrs includes some good stuff, but the religious stuff was really off putting to me. However, High Tension is still great, and the twist still holds up.

Watched 1981's Possession for the first time. It was...bizarre?

Last night I did an Only Lovers Left Alive and It Follows double feature. Detroit style. :thumb:

I watched Housebound last night. Not a bad flick. It kept me interested the whole time and had some good suspense. It is more of a horror comedy but it is done very well.
