"Gearing up" for Hereditary's release A24 is putting out a Evil Grannies 2019 calendar. Just pre ordered.

Hereditary was drymounted - fantastic horror film
Advice: make sure you have time to watch something happy when you get home before bed

Hereditary was extremely my fudge. Highly recommended (despite a couple minor quibbles).

Damn, I loved Hereditary. I can see how it may not be some folks' cup of tea, but it really worked for me. I'm still thinking about it.

A24 needs to get Robert Egger's Nosferatu underway SOON. This NEEDS to happen.

"insane" was surprisingly unsettling. As long as you can tolerate Claire Foy's accent, I definitely recommend it.

I concur, I found UNSANE to be a thoroughly enjoyable movie. Saw it twice when it was in the theaters. It was my first time seeing her act but I wasn't distracted by her accent at all. One of my favorites of 2018 so far.

How did UNSANE (stupid autocorrect) look on the big screen? It wasn't consistent, but there were a couple moments where I noticed the film's technological limitations, even on a 60" TV. The thing that bugged me about the accent was that it was wildly inconsistent.

I thought it was fine on the big screen. I didn't notice any limitations during my screenings.

"The Houses October Built 2" is now on Hulu. I enjoyed the first one, so I decided to give it a watch. Aside from seeing a couple cool real-world haunts in MN, this was thoroughly disappointing. It had even less story than the first, very little tension and buildup, and a lackluster ending.
Has anyone in here seen the The Blackout Experiment? The premise seems cool, but most of the reviews seem lackluster.
