Need to start a new show should it be Salem or been hearing about Penny Dreadful?

Oh man, penny dreadful is absolutely great. It only went for 3 seasons but it will not disappoint. Strong plot, trained theater actors and adult storyline keeps you glued.

Salem was kind of typical bubble gum/teenager/vampire diariesish (imo) but the first two seasons were certainly worth watching. The Crane character is funny as hell and the show is good, but nowhere near what Penny Dreadful is.

Lights out was good. Not great, somewhat new idea, but like most horror movies, as the story unfolds it loses a lot of it's shock value. I'd watch it again.

There's one season of Salem, I think it's the 3rd (maybe the 4th) where it takes a very strange turn right from episode 1.
Beyond that, I don't want to ruin it for anyone but you'll know when you get there because the show will suddenly and monumentally suck, right from the 1st episode. You'll think you're suddenly watching a new season of "Charmed" or some other utter crap like that. But it's as if you're watching a completely new show.

If anyone hasn't seen American Horror Story yet, now THAT is a good show! Every season's a new show with a brand new plot. Most of the same actors all playing different characters though so it's always fresh. Top shelf actors too.

First season was decent. The other's struggled. The hotel season was one of the only times I've stopped watching a show half way through.

I've watched S1 of AHS 3 times now. Easily my favorite season.

Don't Breathe was great, just try and stay away from the trailers, especially the more recent ones. I watched the trailers after the movie and was glad I missed them before seeing it.

Agree. Don't Breathe was pretty great. The first trailer really piqued my interest (obviously), but the more recent, longer trailers give significantly more exposition… and it was more fun going in knowing very little.
