Bryan vs Cesaro from RAW tonight was a really great match. Brutal stiff strikes and some great suplexes. I really hope to see a feud between those two for the title soon. Not totally sure Cesaro will get that heavy of a push, but the guy is a beast.

Top 5 match of the year and totally agree on Cesaro. Being pretty much wasted right now with how much in-ring ability he has. Bryan was a beast tonight as well. I guess he also wrestled in the dark match - so basically 4 straight matches stretching over an hour...unreal.

Looked like Ryback botched the first powerbomb to the mat (I thought he was supposed to catch him and put him straight through the table instead of powerbombing him on the floor, although I could be wrong). I really can't stand him - he shouldn't be involved in spots like that with top talent until he learns how to wrestle more consistently. Too careless, no feel for the flow of a match whatsoever.

In and around 2004 Bryan(wrestling as Bryan Danielson) had some ridiculously long matches. One in particular with Austin Aries from ROH Testing the Limit 08/07/2004 was 2/3 falls and went 75 minutes. The match is really great and keeps varied throughout it's entirety. I think my favorite match Danielson had was vs. Samoa Joe @ ROH Midnight Express Reunion 10/02/2004 which was just insane the whole way through and has such an epic ending it must be seen.

Samoa Joe's stamina for a guy of his "physique" always impresses me. I force myself to sit through TNA sometimes just to catch his and and some of Angle's matches.

Best part about the Wyatts are the "Husky Harris" chants that break out.

that pretty much sums up the Wyatt's. WWE grasping at straws. :hanging:

Pretty much done with all these 3 man tag teams..

They need to do something with the Shield. Yet another exciting prospect turning stale through doing the same thing every week.

Daniel Bryan is fantastic at the moment though. Totally deserves the title shot. I hope he can legitimately beat Cena (doubtful) and doesn't just lose the belt to Orton straight away.

This article sums up my feelings at the moment towards Cena.

You could see how transparent their attempt to hitch him to Bryan's success was from the start. He picks Bryan himself (how honorable), then comes out on Monday and sings his praises - making it impossible for people to boo him. Then, after Bryan wrestles in 3 straight matches, Super Cena has to come out and save him. It doesn't matter - when it comes down to the match, the crowd is going to be ridiculously pro-Bryan. I'm fascinated to see how it plays out. They'll never have Cena lose 100% clean, but I really think they're going to put Bryan over.

I hope you're right. I can't abide Cena. Remember when they did the same and latched him onto Zack Ryder's popularity?

I do, but at least it lead to this ridiculous-as-fudge-moment that I could not stop laughing at....

Who ya got tonight? I think they put Bryan over huge - beats Cena and then Orton comes out to cash in (with Maddox as his referee) and he beats him, too.

Punk/Lesnar will be fun as well.

RVD over Ambrose
Sandow over Rhodes (where did his lisp go?)
Ziggler over Langston
Wyatt (who?) over Kane
Del Rio over Christian (really, Christian?)
Lesnar over Punk
Cena over Bryan

I don't really watch wrestling...if I do it's 1998 and earlier.
Just thought I'd throw picks up.

Really hope they put Bryan over big tonight. The guy is a workhorse and deserves it, Cena is so damn boring just about anyone would be more entertaining in the top spot.

Also hoping Punk beats Lesnar and gets back into the title picture, would love to see him And Bryan feud over the title in the near future.
