the boss/employee power struggle bit has completely ran its course, i agree. all people of power need to be like Regal. just show up to make decisions and not get involved or overshadow the talent. i don't mind the Bryan/Shane vs KO/Zayn storyline though.

cannot wait for:b
Bryan vs Miz (can headline any show)
Bryan vs AJ
Bryan vs Nakamura
the possibilities 8)

really though, I'm glad he is able to again. he's been cleared by endless doctors and WWE medical finally. in the end, they just wanted him safe and healthy for Brie and his family.

no matter how bad he wanted to wrestle, WWE wouldn't allow it until it was proven he was cleared. couldn't help but think that WWE listed those doctors on their website so in case something does happen, they can point at these specialists and say "hey - it's not just us they also cleared him". fallback plan.

Good call on Regal. I know they use the whole GM/Commissioner thing to get faces on TV that aren't weekly wrestlers, but if DB and Kurt are cleared, there's no reason they need to keep up with the GM gimmick and I don't need McMahons in the ring multiple times every week.

In reality, I'm okay with most of the match booking. I'm never going to complain about seeing HHH in a ring and I think Rousey against a "real wrestler" would have been a disaster, so putting her in the mixed tag w/ Stephanie makes sense to protect her while she gets up to speed. Shane/DB vs KO/SZ is going to be a fun match and I can't wait to see DB back in the ring. I could definitely do with less GM/commissioner in ring segments though. That's getting a bit stale.

Looking forward, The Miz match is what I'm most excited about and hope it main events Summer Slam. That DB/Miz story has building for a long time and I"m excited to see it get paid off.

the only other time i can think of when a true bonafide STAR came back after such a long lay off is HBK and his 2nd half career was amazing if not better than the first. hoping it's like that for Bryan.

I imagine Bryan won't be "GM" for much longer. Definitely headed back to full time in ring performer in the near future. It's Wrestlemania - they're always gonna have the gimmicky matches with washed up stars of the past. No need to be upset about it - it's always been there and it always will. Snookie was in a WM match FFS.

I should have used the sarcasm font. I just thought it was funny to look at when you replace the names with their "job titles."

I'm all in on the product and extremely excited for WM. We booked our Takeover Brooklyn air b&b last week and plan on booking next year's WM air b&b in a couple weeks.

We typically only go in for NXT and skip SS. We may revisit because of DB though.

Not that I have room to talk, but it looks like Kane put on some lb’s...

I don't know if they mentioned this last night, but...
Following that attack, Shane-O took a well-deserved vacation in the Caribbean with his family.

But apparently, things didn’t go well for Shane McMahon while he was in paradise because WWE reports Vince McMahon’s son came down with a bad infection due to a case of acute diverticulitis and an umbilical hernia.

Shane spent several days in an Antigua hospital before being flown to New York City where he is currently in an NYC area hospital being treated with heavy doses of antibiotics. You know they’re serious because they said hospital instead of “medical facility.”

Upon further investigation from doctors, they discovered McMahon also suffered an umbilical hernia due to the attack which will require surgery after the infection is taken care of.

McMahon was initially diagnosed with a laryngeal contusion as well as trapezius and rhomboid strains as a result of the dastardly beatdown from Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Most people assumed this would set up a tag team match for WrestleMania and things were looking that way as well.

i can't seen Shane fighting at Mania. I'm curious what plan B is.

RAW kinda sucked last night which is not good leading into a WM.

Do a handicap match - DB vs. Sami & Kevin. Will work great and crowd will be way into it. Just build in some rest holds as I'm guessing DB's cardio won't be at everyone else's level. Don't try wedging some random into it at the last minute.

Zayn v. Owens v. Bryan

I know he's got "no limits" but this protects Bryan much more so than a handicap.

or if Jericho is willing to reschedule his show that day, Jericho/Bryan v. Zayn/Owens works for me.
