Also, if you do see their entire catalog at any point, please let us know as I'm curious to see everything they're offering.

As for Ozu or any director really is I like to watch their filmography in order. Watch them grow as a director. I'll do so with Bergman as well as I've only seen about 4 or 5 of his movies.
Not sure why. I think they still have a lot of work to do on the back end. I would think they'll make it easier to browse the collection.

Good call on watching them in order. I like to do that as well

That's awesome. Hopefully it keeps updated.

Also, there's this list, with links to their Criterion Channel webpage:

That's a lot of films at once, I expected fewer. This is going to knock seven off my bucket list in one go. Just finished Nanook of the North and Andrei Rublev.

I like the catalog, but a part of me thought that the service would provide access to their entire catalog. I guess some films are sill tied up or have other exclusive streaming rights.I looked for Dr. Strangelove, Bull Durham and Gilda. All have Blu-Ray and DVDs for sale, but not available on the service.

I also hope they create an app for direct access on my Samsung TV like Netflix and VuDu. I don't have Apple TV or Prime or Roku and don't necessarily care to pay for the hardware or the service.

An interesting launch though. Had some timeout issues the first day, but otherwise pretty smooth from my experience.

Site now has an All Films tab.

I've been jumping all over. Having fun with the Columbia Noirs. Watched Nightfall, Murder By Contract, and The Big Heat.

Awesome. I haven't had time to watch anything since it launched, but I am curious what they're offering.

Happy to see Klute in the collection, and an upgrade of Do the Right Thing is always welcome.

Watched Hollywood Shuffle on the channel last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just a heads up, unsure how long the sale will last but got an e-mail that Criterion titles are 50% off in store and online through Barnes & Noble

Lasts through all of July, so no rush.

Definitely picking up War and Peace and Blue Velvet; after that it’s a pretty huge list that needs to be pared down pretty aggressively.

Spine 1000 announcement next week. Everything seems to be pointing to a Godzilla set.
