Yeah, I feel like the releases that I actually want are getting further and further in between. But that makes sense.

This March, we’re mining the complexities of personal and political consciousness with one of Spike Lee’s most incisive and incendiary films, a heartrending melodrama from the iconic Barbra Streisand, a chilling Technicolor noir starring Gene Tierney, and a landmark adaptation of a truly American Broadway musical. Plus: new restorations of The Cranes Are Flying and Salesman on Blu-ray!

Would of wished for a different cover to 'Come and See" but glad it is getting its due.

June Titles!
As we promised earlier this week, we are moving forward with our June 2020 title announcement. To make things a little easier in these tough times, we’ve lowered our everyday Criterion store price from 20% off SRP to 30% off SRP through April 30 on all in-stock and upcoming releases.

This month’s lineup traverses the vast spectrum of the human condition, from the all-consuming romance between two women to the slapstick pleasures of silent cinema’s great stone face; from the pain and joy of one woman’s self-discovery to the brutal horrors of war. Plus, Tokyo Olympiad is back in a new Blu-ray and DVD edition!

Not surprised, as it's the image that has accompanied the screenings the past couple months; but yeah, not crazy about it either. That said, will buy immediately upon release of course.

Dang it Criterion! I don't need to be spending money on this right now, but yeah, I'll probably be spending money on this right now.

I am SO excited for that. I wish they'd do some more Jackie Chan flicks, too.

Doesn’t Criterion usually do a 50% sale in July? If so, thinking of waiting on this and see if I can’t get it half off.

Yeah, the July sale is through Barnes and Noble and tends to run for the entire month.

Nice. I’ll probably just wait then. Thanks iwokeinrelief. Do you know if it works on new releases such as this?

It's all titles that are currently released. So as long as it isn't a pre-order it will be 50% off.
