Sing Street was fantastic. Not quite equal to Parker's The Commitments, but it captures 80s Dublin pretty well and has Maria Doyle Kennedy. Definitely worth a watch.

Loved AKA.
One of those films where if you took a shot every time the main guy killed someone you would die of alcohol poisoning.

 Watched Ripley based on the recs here. It was really good, BUT spoiler alert: I had a bit of a hard time believing there were no pics of Dickie or Ripley in any of the papers, and the detective wouldn't have looked at/or asked for any pics of Dickie when he was in Marge's/Dickie's place especially with them all strewn about. Agreed, but that's what made the ending fun, IMO. Thought it was a great little series.
