I normally skip over Asian / Martial Arts stuff…
But for some reason I clicked on Warrior.
Started out a little slow, but I was hooked after Episode 3.
Season 2 & 3 are phenomenal.
The villains are everywhere and you want to clap when they go down.
Some truly great characters, ( Young Jun ) ( Leary )
Solid writing and top notch build up.
They do a great job letting the viewer know they aren’t really speaking English by panning the camera around and changing the dialogue, and they speak broken English when actually speaking
English.
Maybe that’s a common thing, as I mentioned I don’t usually watch this type of stuff, but I really enjoyed the 3 seasons.
Highly recommended.

Warrior was very entertaining. Hopefully Netflix gives it a proper finale after HBO/Max dumped it.

Yup, I was just reading up on that before I commented in hopes of another season.
It ended decently as far as closure, imho, but it’s a great show, and I would love to see it continue fo sho. Fingers crossed.

enjoyed the gentlemen. was rather surprised by Theos acting. Wasn't all that impressed with his acting in the White Lotus, but thought he did great in this series.

The first several episodes were great, and towards the end I thought it slacked, but overall enjoyed it.

Ripley is absolute dynamite. I thought the black and white would be annoying, but it is incredibly well shot, and the acting is top notch.

Just saw it is the same cinematographer (Robert Elswit) did There Will Be Blood & Michael Clayton (a personal favorite).

Can't say enough good things.

I agree about Ripley, I thought it was outstanding.

I also love the film Ripley's Game, so the cameo in the final couple of eps left me with a broad smile.
