I watched this based on yalls comments. The pacing is fine, the premise is utterly stupid. I knows its based on a book, my mom told me she was forced to read it at school in the 60s.

"Take this and come see me at the end!" WHAT?? The only part I slightly enjoyed was at the lake and its light connection to the main theme.

Worst 2 movies of 2021 in my opinion would be the "007 No time to die" and "Matrix Resurrections" because in both movies they kill the franchised by killing the essence of this movies.
