i'm going w/ something similar to this (photo by gshedron):
thicker (duh) black frame w/ texture + medium gray mat (similar space specs as above photo) + floated 3/16" on foam core + museum conservation glass (probably anti-glare, too?) + everything acid-free, conservation grade = around $650 w/ parts and labor at my local frame shop
