Total $$ grab .
Still an awesome print .
1st edition was a one color , Variant is 2 color
IMO this is more in line to be considered a 2nd edition , with it having a higher run than that of the 1st.
Not to mention it was never disclosed that there were any plans to release a "variant"

triple the edition size and increase the price 50%. thats pretty lame.
The first edition and color variant are both 2 color.lxplaya1 wrote:Total $$ grab .

The only thing that i see that makes this a variant is that it's on "sno-cone" white paper and the original is on cream paper.
There was no text on the first art print edition either. There are 3 total versions of this:iamthetoe wrote:No text on the variant. Wouldn't that make it cheaper to produce?
1) the original explosions in the sky concert print on cream paper
2) an art print exactly like the concert print minus the tex on cream paper
3) second color variant of the art print on white paper
The explosions in the sky and art prints can be seen here:
