One Love 11 Mr. Brainwash Release Discussion 03/18/11
tried but no go. wasn't too excited about the image anyway but definitely a good cause though. although the print is for the relief fund, i don't see any problem flipping this since collectors well spent money is going to benefit people from Japan regardless if we flip or not.
personally i don't see this holding up in value. the image could have been much, much better for a mbw.

you flip every MBW print you get anywaystimc wrote:Agree!!!s_k_y wrote:Boo-hoo. People are always going to flip MBW prints, that's 3/4 of his "market".edmundventura wrote:The people flipping this for profit are absolutely disgusting. Putting "Japan Relief" in the title is particularly shameful.
MBW still donated $25k so who cares what someone else does with it. Maybe their auction is donating some as well.
And no, I didn't get one.
Oldest is 7 and loves Mr. Brainwash. He donated a ton of prints to her school last year and she made him a bunch of heart prints in return. My Next in line was only 4 at the time and into puppies and stuff so i got her the eyesaw "love painting"ciphe wrote:how did you pick which daughter got her print her print first? hahacarljwiii wrote:12:00:5x PDT
Finally!!!!!!!!!!!! Was o/3 on the last 3 drops! 1st daughter has the pink heart splash- daughter # 2 is gonna love this!
Not a bad start to their art collection!
I am a Rhinoceros and my skin is 2 feet thick
I have actually made two offers!! I know that money is for the person not Japan!! It's ok with me!
What I want to know is where do all these Brainwashes end up? I just picture them eternally circling the globe via trades and sales, and taking flatfile naps. I mean how many of the prints in the last couple years actually get framed?
Not sure what happened, but I submitted well before some of the times posted, and I got a sold out message. Maybe it had to do with me needed to input my zip code for shipping purposes.
You hear that? That is the sound of your fingers playing a tiny violin to accompany the sorrow that is in my heart.

This is above my desk as we speak. I also have a Heart Splash at the framer now that's going above the bed, and Weapon Of Choice will be going above my couch. Some of us actually enjoy his output every now and then
Also, I have a couple 24x36 lithos framed and in a couple of my bathrooms.

I agree. Once the buyers on the bay stop acting on their emotions, it'll come down quite a bit.heathunter881 wrote:tried but no go. wasn't too excited about the image anyway but definitely a good cause though. although the print is for the relief fund, i don't see any problem flipping this since collectors well spent money is going to benefit people from Japan regardless if we flip or not.

Anyone with buyers remorse want to avoid eBay/paypal fees?
Art comes alive in the arguments you have about it
