This is a brilliant concept - I'm not sure I love the execution though. My eye is drawn to all the stark white 'areas' that don't (to me) fit in with actual surroundings (and the whole concept of the piece really relies on the surroundings working to form an image). Maybe I'm just not picking up on something...?

heh. i didn't see the vader image the first time i looked at the pic.
ISO Horkey Stacy Lowery Paleo Deck. $$$$$$$ (or trade)
If you are meaning the white blotches... yeah why are those there... they seem out of place (not needed) unless for a glow in the dark purpose (not mentioned) that would still not have meaning to me.Craig_of_J wrote:This is a brilliant concept - I'm not sure I love the execution though. All of these comments should not be on this thread but more so on the 'Add Comments' section, but I guess I'll just play along...
i am pretty sure these spots are: knobby white spiders...
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Knobby_white_spider
If not spiders... the white areas/blotches could be anything... they don't disturb me at all, they actually give it a sense of life inside that swamp... it is almost like leaves falling from those trees... or, maybe Tanuka wanted to add these 'apparitions', ghost-like shapes to evoke a dream, to remind everyone that this is Luke's subconscious, or something...
it could also be the white force balancing the dark side...
heck, it might just be some major registration issues...
I don't know... I need to see this movie again, it's been a while...
and no, I am not a Star Wars freak... I didn't buy the first two prints... but this is T. Hanuka... man, I really want this... trouble is I might not even be close to a computer tomorrow...
do they drop at 12:00 CST? I think that has been the case w/other two...

Yeah lately they've been around then. But there is the off chance Mondo will sneak attack us early! Looking forward to trying to snag one of these!churdiales wrote:do they drop at 12:00 CST? I think that has been the case w/other two...
