do you not know who jasper johns is?
I think that was meant to be a joke
regardless what is the point of this print
does johns have an exhibition coming up soon?
hopefully it was a joke, but then again i would bet that half of the ebeaners don't even know who he is. especially the ones quick to dismiss all things fairey, then run off to fluff emek and horkey
but enough of that.... good question about what this print is for. i look forward to hearing the story
regardless of being a Jasper fan you can not tell me that this print is better then the Emek/Horkey being released

... and I would wager that most Jasper John fans don't have a clue who Emek or Aaron Horkey are... so f**k em... this is WEAK sauce.

Yeah, I know who Jasper is, and this looks like a Target ad.

holy cr-p, that's actually true, hysterical and so lame
Why lame? It was a fantastic exhibit! I think the promoter was a genius by getting Target to be the sponsor.

most major art exhibitions have a corporate sponsor
however I am not sure why fairey would make this image
I suspect that he is referencing Johns work titled Target but it comes off like he is mocking Johns for having an exhibit being sponsored by target

Mark Parker, the CEO of Nike, is one of the biggest Low Brow/Pop Surrealist art collectors around. Most of the major pieces in the Juxtapoz Factor show at the Laguna Art Museum were his. Hurley and Nike sponsor tons of art related events.
