Apache usually takes 15 minutes and it depends on what kinds of resources are used. I have some servers that restart apache in about 5 mins, and others that take an hour or so. All really depends on what the box has on it.

Hey Derek, is it possible to just program the cart with the product number instead of going through the buy page?

Not that I know of. I stopped using XCart a week after it was installed, and use all 3rd party processing now. I run a Merchant Doorway at Netbilling, CCBill and Epoch. I cascade as well so that if 1 processor is bogged down, it moves to the next, and the subscription/product number is passed through my sales software.
