Really curious where flipping 2-3 falls into play?
Lifeguard Not On Duty 14 Fairey Release Discussion 08/12/14
So its not ok to buy up posters on the aftermarket? I guess I don't see anything different than buying up a few copies of movie posters, right?comountaingolf wrote:Nah, stuckeyc, you're pretty much in the silent majority. As far as stocks, I have yet to see a share that's limited to one by the Corp. but when that day arrives, I'll buy 1 and see what happens. In the minority for sure but doesn't change how I see it and making an effort to make new collectors aware. Sometimes we get lucky and score a second copy, which I keep or ONLY trade for other Faireys. Maybe I'm an exception but I love anything Fairey produces honestly.

pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
If its worth it to you to pay the premium on the secondary market buy a hundred for all I care. Buying multiple copies on the initial release so you can make more per print than the artist with zero energy put into it is shitty and keeps it from people who genuinely want it. The whole philosophy of obey is to provide cheap art that everyone can afford. Of course most people reading this know sheps take on flipping, they just put their own greed above it

You can buy up as many prints on the secondary as you want. I honestly don't care and, long-term, it's a great play. That said, peeps that are setting up multiple PP accounts and scoring multiples from source can suck a big fat dick, plain & simple...gonzo303 wrote: So its not ok to buy up posters on the aftermarket?
