It's a nice print but its like 1/4 the size of RIFT and isn't the album cover. Just a guy in a bed
The RIFT print is definately helping this ones market value. Funny that one could pick up the RIFT for face or less for years until just recently!

Those only concerned with market value should definately sell while the market is hot! I think those who want it for their wall would do best to wait a few.

But what do I know?

Ridiculous how much these are going for! For a smallish giclee of a process piece? Nuts. Then again, there are only 30 of them to go around...

I watched the "final" Rift giclee sit on Welker's site for years and never pulled the trigger on it. When I saw this one, I jumped on it. For some reason, this one is more aesthetically pleasing, mostly because it's not just blue, and interesting, by being a step in the artist's process. I don't think I'd ever hang the actual cover art, but this one is going straight to my wall (in the bedroom, of course).

I'll also add that I like the smaller size of this one. And it's a little more than 1/2 the size, not 1/4.

I got a msg when the auction went up asking if I would end it and sell it to him for 440, I said no but for 500 I will. He then asked me to start a BIN for that amount (ie he agreed on that price) and instantly bought it. We following along now? :)

And forget me I am more interested in this other bizarro auction lol.

Now relisted for $599?

I'm confused now too. Unless you have multiples, how many times have you sold the same print?

Winning bidder probably realized what a bargain he was getting @ $500, and asked if he could pay $599 instead

this is funny.
I'd buy another Acedia before throwing down for this.

and the irony of all of this is I personally do not think its worth 500 at all and I think that one auction certainly has shill bidding going on and that helped mine go for 500. I bet after that other auction is over you do not see that high of a price for some time. I could be very wrong but who knows, there are only 30 but still.
