"Manipulative hack" sounds more accurate to me than "true fan".

I don't know who posted the True Fans rubbish, but that was one person in the group who did that, and i assume they were drunk or high or something. As soon as I read it i got it deleted.

This print has been blogged about on Laurent Durieux Blog. And has nothing to do with the Facebook group at all.

People bought more than one, as we had to raise several thousand Dollars, and with each print priced at $25, there were not enough people in the group for 1 per person. A lot of people who got 2 prints, are going to artificially age one, so its looks even more retro than it already does.

Any other questions?

Having missed out on Durieux drops a couple of times, and finally having funds to spend on things other than rent and food, I was excited to see new work of his - only to be disappointed by the weird Facebook-club thing  . That said, would anybody who got more than one of these be willing to hook me up with one?

Also, as a Dutchman, I feel extra affinity (and a strange sort of entitlement perhaps?) towards a print made by a Belgian (heavily inspired by Old World comics), based upon the heroism of the Holland-America line.

Well said, I dont think I need to repeat what's already been said. 99% of the group have the best intentions only, not sure who wrote that description.

Nothing 'weird' about the Facebook group... it's just a bunch of people interested in the same stuff... a bit like... oh, hang on... EXPRESSO BEANS!
The group has been there for over a year and was open to anyone who wanted to join. No Illuminati fudge going down  just people putting in money to make it happen. It was all very much a "let's hold this gig in the street" kind of deal.

If you're looking for a hook-up, Celsius has 5 available for sale

I thought you bought 4 prints Googscarley, before you left the group.

No idea why you'd need 4 prints tho.

I know, that's not what I meant, I was sad to find out about another great print of his only after it had sold out already this time . Getting the prints you like is amazingly impossible sometimes...

I'll PM Celsius in a sec, thanks!
