So how is Jon's dying girlfriend and endless "stories"?

Wish him the best.

I'm seriously considering it. It'll be my first float if I do.

haha yeah that! I still don't know how my print survived - it seemed totally unprotected but somehow the white tissue paper got it the worst. One of the end caps was totally squished in yet somehow both the fancy kraft and the print stayed mint. Phew.
Out of curiosity, what more did you want Faile to do as far as packing. Genuinely curious because it seemed fine to me.

the tube used was substandard, mondo uses better to ship a 40 movie poster. they were wrapped with craft but not taped to the inside of the tube to prevent shifting, or alternatively taping the rolled print to allow some space.

they needed more/better kraft paper

they needed tape (no one wants a a print pressed up against a tube)
they needed better tubes

basically ONLY thing they did right was tissue paper

That post was not that confusing. For the record the tissue paper saved my print, sorry others had worse luck

they definitely can do a better job packing those prints especially when they are asking 30 dollars to ship a tube shipped within NYC.
