Thanks very much for the pic of the Emek price list

Is “new” Grateful Dead Metal the
GDP /Bottleneck image from the timed edition or something else ?

Was the number of people camping outside similar to prior years? How about attendance overall compared to say 2015-2019?

20 people camped overnight. There is a random draw when doors open, so no guarantees.

Just a shout out to everyone who has stopped by to say hello. If nothing else, it’s affirming to see all this positivity and love for the hobby in person.
As always, so great seeing you (and whalaw) and catching up, what a blur of a day and a half ... safe travels home to you both. Have to say, I don't think I encountered one unhappy person all day yesterday (even while I was helping with the onslaught at Chuck's booth), smiles and stories for days. So many old friends, and a ton of new ones.

More on the show later, need coffee.

It was actually post event, after the tear down, the last posters seen for the weekend. Bunch sweaty old dudes huddled en masse around the very last standing table in the hall while EMEK doodled and we heard stories about these prints (stone cold perfect condition) and the printing process for the VR in general. Quite the cherry on top of the weekend.

Everyone was in great spirits and it was an overall positive experience all around. Easily one of my favorite in person poster events Ive been able to attend in awhile!

I got in line at 4:30am and was #47. The line was up to around 90 by 8am. 40 random numbers (each) drawn for Emek, Sperry, Spusta at entry - I pulled #21 for Chuck, a buddy who arrived at 7:30 pulled #6 - luck of the draw.

This was my first time doing the show and it was a great experience. Very long, tiring and expensive day but well worth it!

And, total silence in the Hall when those were pulled out. Similar to when food finally arrives to the supper table. Great show. The crowd was still buzzing way past 4 pm. We hope to see everyone in Atlanta in February.
