My flights look to be non refundable, so I'm likely still coming, never visited Austin before and it'll be a nice break from the Scottish winter.

you can't live your life in constant fear.
At this point i'm just as likely to catch it in scotland as in texas, so i might as well life my life, obviously i'm taking due care

Austin is still a great city to experience, regardless of SXSW. There will still be a Flatstock event, other artist pop ups, and plenty of unofficial events still going on. Hope you have a great time while you're here.
