Rock band Circa Survive will perform a brief, stripped down set in celebration of Petrichor, the Main Gallery exhibition by Esao Andrews, before their set at the Disrupt Festival in the Valley later that day. Circa Survive album covers feature artwork by Andrews, Japanese-American artist and illustrator, who was born and raised in Mesa, AZ. Andrews has gained international acclaim for his album artwork and comic book covers, and he works primarily in oil on wood panel. Andrews combines Gothic grotesque, erotic and surrealist imagery. Petrichor is on view in Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum now through August 4. Admission is always free. July 27th @ 1 PM.
Go ahead, make my millennium.
